In Memorium: The Mandela Legacy

This is an excerpt from the letter written by The Chairman of The League Of Citizens Of The Republic Of South Africa, following the passing of the greate Winifred Nomzamo Madikizela Mandela

Mama Winnie
I want you to know you will be remembered. I want you to know you have always been revered by your people and your name is already recorded in history.
Daughter. Mother. Grandmother. Friend. Activist. Freedom Fighter. General. Revolutionary. Influencer. Icon. Queen. Mother Of The Nation. Legend.
Though you were often villified, abused and criticised, your importance was unmistakable. Your resolve was unshakable.
Im glad you lived to see the Zuma Cartel fall. Im glad you got to see the fruits of your labour begin to flourish in the likes of the Thuli Madonselas & Julius Malemas.
But most of all, though you were held back from taking your rightful place as our leader and from being honoured properly by the organization you bled & cried for… Im glad that you knew how much we as South Africans and conscious people around the world all appreciated and revered you.
It is remarkable when one looks back at what you both accomplished and what you meant and still mean to the world. Your words of wisdom inspire us everyday.
I hope you are proud of us. Because of you Nelson Mandela & Winnie Mandela, we are willing to stand against our governments and to try and change the world. Because of you we are willing to stand & fight. Because of you we are willing to say “Never & never again.” Because of you we dare to raise our fists in the air and yell “Amandla!” in defiance.
So thank you. Thank you for your sacrifices. We owe you alot. And yes Ma, we owe you alot more than we owed Nelson. Alot more than we admitted to you. You lived as a martyr. But you died as our hero. We will not let your legacy fall. I want you to know that we will honour you by emulating you.
Lala ngoxolo.

Agenda 2018

Mobilization of The League Of Citizens Of The Republic Of South Africa:

2018 will be a year of mobilization for The League. A year to make a difference in peoples lives.
We intend on starting projects designed to not only help but educate people.
We will be seeking partnerships that will help us grow & get our message out to the world.

To all of you #RSAPatriots, this is the year you have been waiting for… when we rise up & become the #RSAMovement.
We wont be able to do it without your help.

Stay tuned & check the Statements page for the latest developments.
It will not happen overnight & it wont be quick, but even a ripple can become a tsunami.

What we propose is to send out ripples of rebellion, so #StandWithUs #RiseUpRSA #LOCORSA

A Toast To The New Liberation Movement

2017 has left the building and it would seem that it is taking Jacob with it.

It has been a challenging year, but also a year of enlightenment. It was the year the people retaliated. It was the year where we all finally began to rise up.

So let us celebrate the vigorous opposition to the mechanizations the Mafia State.

Let us celebrate the brave & brilliant minds that stood in the docks and fought in the benches.

Let us celebrate you, The People, for voicing your dissent and protesting for change.

Though we have made gains in 2017, revealed the men and women behind the curtain and won critical judgments, let us not forget that we have only won a few battles… the war has only just begun.

This year, let us grit our teeth, plant our feet and put up our dukes. This year, let us go toe to toe with those who wish to abuse our nation for their personal gain.

This is not a fight we or our children or the ones that will come after us can afford to lose.

So, this year let us go for the victory and destroy the network of oligarchs, gangsters, agents & traitors that are holding our nation hostage and profiting from the pain, misery & suffering of our people.

Let us all stand together as South Africans and ensure that we do not lose the gains we made.

This is the year we take our country back.

To the new liberation movement. In 2018, may we continue to layeth the smacketh down, continue to question authority & continue to hold our government to account.

A toast, to the new year. May it be a fruitful year and may it be the year where we change the fate of our nation.

Happy New Year to all RSA Patriots from The League Of Citizens Of The Republic Of South Africa.

Impeach Zuma Day

A Message from The League Of Citizens Of The Republic Of South Africa following the Constitutional Court judgment in the matter of EFF vs The Speaker of The National Assembly:

It is time to purge ourselves of the festering rot of corruption. It is time to destroy the #MafiaState & to dismantle the #StateCapture ring of patronage & the #WMC network of priviledge.

After the judgment on 29.12.2017 in the matter of EFF vs Speaker Of The National Assembly regarding the failure of parliament to act on the allegations of corruption surrounding the president, it is clear that the path to impeaching Jacob G Zuma is open.

Therefore we call for #Zuma to step down, have his passport confiscated & to stand trial for fraud, corruption, defeating the ends of justice & treason.

We hope #RSAPatriots of all walks of life will rally on this day & put pressure on the ANC & Parliament to impeach our dishonest & dishonoured president so that we can begin to heal as a nation & may be able to begin the work of rebuilding our #SouthAfricanDream

Gather together. Rally your organizations. Take to the streets. March. Protest. Tweet. Broadcast your dissent.

Let us all rise up on the 10th of January (the day ANC plans on attending to the matter of Zuma…) & with one voice, rebuke, reject & recall the man who will forever go down in history as the worst leader in South African history.

#RiseUpRSA

A New Era: LOCORSA

A message from The Chairman’s Desk:

“After careful conscideration of our mission & vision, of the political climate & mainly, of what our image should represent to the people… we have decided to reposition ourselves in line with the will of the people.

Going forward we will no longer identify as Liberal or Social Liberal… we are henceforth a Democratic Socialist organization.

Though we still stand for individual liberty, we believe, as our people do that the state should regulate our laws. We believe the state should exist to allow the citizens to manage & distribute our resources.

The League will be renamed. & our colours updated. We will be making this update across all spectrums of the organization & we hope to engage with each one of you to here your thoughts.

Our new logo & colours:

As an organisation that stands for liberty & peace, we have kept the dove of peace & adopted the blue of liberty.

As an African organization, we have incorporated our continent into the new logo & drapped it in the green of Africa.

As a movement for change that is willing to fight for the economic freedom of every #RSAPatriot, we have raised the revolutionary fist, adopted the red of our socialist society & incorporated the black stars/lines of anti-capitalist thinking.

As an organization that promotes equality & accountability, we have incorporated the scales of justice & retained the gold of social liberalism.

Our Name:

With such drastic revisions to our movements trajectory & outlook, we have decided to rename our organisation as The League Of Citizens Of The Republic Of South Africa. LOCORSA.

Thankfully, we will be retaining our monikers as The #RSAPatriots League & The League.

We look forward to a new era & we hope that you will take to heart our new stance, colours, logo & name & that we can identify with all #RSAPatriots.

Proudly South African. Proudly #RSAPatriots. We are still… The League.”

A luta continua… Rage against The Dying Of The Light

It has been a while since #TheLeague has been active on social media. A lot has been happening around us & for the everyday men & women like ourselves, this has been a heavy tide.
Primarily our political landscape has become a battleground for the Shakespearean Tragedy that is the #ANC succession battle & amidst all of this noise, all of our political apparatus as a society has been directed at commenting about, predicting & analyzing the events and possibilities of the farce that our government has become.
Our people march. Our opposition parties battle it out in the courts. But still the succubus that is #TheStateCaptureNetwork survives and continue to drain us.
Indeed it is as if all of our fighting spirit as a nation has been sapped in the wake of the events that have unfolded. It has been drained from us as we have been battered with revelations & realizations.
It has been revealed to us exactly how far reaching the spider web of corruption possibly is and we have realized that we can no longer deny that our president is the spider in the middle of it all.
It has been revealed to us that our country has been fitted with strings and has been toyed with & divided in the name of protecting a corrupt figurehead and we have realized that it is a group of foreign invaders that are the puppeteers.
A lot of effort has gone into diverting attention away from the fact that numerous investigations & reports have pointed out that our state is under siege and being co-opted by a kleptocratic oligarchy, The Zuma/Gupta Cartel.
We have been manipulated, misdirected and embarrassed, but no one is being brought to book. We have reached a stage where we have to ask… can anyone be brought to book? Will anyone be brought to book?
It is a trying time and it is because of these trials that we as The #RSAPatriots League have been questioning our mission and vision. Our very existence.
What is the point of trying to start a movement for change when our brothers & sisters refuse to rise up?
What is the point of trying to inspire a nation that can not see that the #ANC is now a shell of its former self… a ghost and are not willing to let go of it and forge a new path?
What is the point of joining the fray when the only rhetoric our society listens to is populism and blindly follow ideals they don’t understand?
How can we hope to achieve #TheSouthAfricanDream?
What is the point of continuing the struggle?
It is these questions that we have been pondering as we have watched the revelations unfold around us and realized our own powerlessness as #SouthAfricans
But the answer to these questions is the very reason that we started #LLPRSA in the 1st place… we love our country and it is our duty to protect it and help to change it for the better.
So, we ask you, the #RSAPatriots to wake up. We ask you to stand together. We ask you to stand with us. Be brave. Voice your concerns and opinion and let us stand for you. Add your voice to the chorus and demand accountability. Take an interest in defending your nation.
“A luta continua” means “the struggle continues”, so let us continue to fight for freedom. Rise against #TheMafiaState. Take back our country.
We can not go gently into that good night. It is now that we need to rage… rage against the dying of the light.

Rise Up & Push Back

This is a message of encouragement for the people of South Africa from The Chairman of The #RSAPatriots League:

Dear South Africa

We know you are tired. We know that after all that has come to light and after the marches and tweets and outrage that nothing has happened. No one has done anything and you do not know what to do. We understand.

You have heard of cases being opened. You have heard party leaders call for heads. Even the Constitutional Court was engaged… but nothing has happened.

All we hear is the ANC talking smack and patting itself on the back. All we read is people stating the obvious. But in reality, The Zuma Cartel still thrives. The State Capture Network continues on, unabated, uninterrupted, only now with purpose and speed as they now know they have until 2019.

But we have to ask you… are you willing to wait until 2019? After the lies and betrayal and blatant arrogance, mismanagement, incompetence and treasonous actions of the shell that is now what used to be the African National Congress… are you still willing to leave our country in their hands?

All we hear is the ANC talking smack and patting itself on the back. All we read is people stating the obvious. But in reality, The Zuma Cartel still thrives. The State Capture Network continues on, unabated, uninterrupted, only now with purpose and speed as they now know they have until 2019.

Do you realize not that between now and 2019, the nuclear deal will be pushed through and we will be indebted to The Kremlin for eternity? Do you not realize our national reputation will be damaged beyond all recognition and we will be banished to the realm of “just another failed African nation”? Do you not realize that as long as ANC is in power, “White Monopoly Capital” cannot be touched as they are the very financiers of the ANC?

We know you are tired… but we need to rise up and reclaim our nation. During apartheid our parents gave up comfort, safety and luxury to rise up and take back our nation.

In South Africa circa 1994, we had Nelson Mandela. Who do we have in South Africa circa 2017?

How far are you willing to go? What does your country mean to you? What will your answer be when your children ask “What did you do when South Africa was falling?” Maybe it’s time to rise up South Africa. Before it’s too late.

We know you are tired… but we need to rise up and reclaim our nation. During apartheid our parents gave up comfort, safety and luxury to rise up and take back our nation.

Deals are being made to sell our country to the highest bidder… Our energy. Our oil reserves. Our ports. Our land. Even The World Bank has shares in our social grants scheme. We are disarmed and defenceless. So why are we being purposefully oblivious to the destruction happening around us?

If we look back in history, we can always trace the moment when things reached “The Point Of No Return”… the day when things “went south”. We can always analyze the chain of events that lead up to a flashpoint and point out where it all went wrong.

It is our ability to be able to record our past and survive our politics that allows us to be able to do this. It is also because we are removed from that point in time and as such do not have to deal with the everyday things that would otherwise distract us from being able to assess the realities of the things that are happening around us that we are able to honestly asses our failings and come up with solutions.

Deals are being made to sell our country to the highest bidder… Our energy. Our oil reserves. Our ports. Our land. Even The World Bank has shares in our social grants scheme. We are disarmed and defenceless. So why are we being purposefully oblivious to the destruction happening around us?

Luckily for us we have the internet, newspapers, blogs, social media and documentaries. We have all the tools we need to be able to look at ourselves and realize our mistakes, all we need to do is remember that it is us, The Citizens, who make up our nation and it is us who have the power to decide the direction our country takes. All we need to do is shed our fear and take action.

In South Africa circa 1994, we had Nelson Mandela. Who do we have in South Africa circa 2017?

Dear South Africa, Its Time To Stand Up & Stand Together

This is an article The Chairman wrote in The Huffington Post. #RSAPatriots #RiseUpRSA

Antonio Quicksilver

This is an article I published as it appears in The Huffington Post 🙂

I think it’s time we had a chat. I am not rich or famous. I am just… me. I am a citizen of The Republic Of South Africa. The interesting thing is I think that is the makeup of most of us, yes?

We are mostly just us, South Africans. But the thing we don’t seem to realize is that that alone is an achievement of note.

Think of how many countries in Africa are not like South Africa… Think of how many countries have gone through the crucible we have and have come out like us. None. Not one.

Congo? Rwanda? Zimbabwe? Any takers… Egypt? No? None.

People seem to forget that none of our current generation is responsible for any of the crap that came before. Similarly we seem to forget that no-one chose…

A celebration of failure #ANC105

As we all watch the former bastion of the liberation movement crumble, it is with sadness that we observe the defiant declaration of arrogance being displayed by the African National Congress.
How does one display pride in the fact that they have failed to live up to what they promised? How do they continue to stand in front of not just their constituents, but the world & continue to lie & attempt to silver tongue us all with leaden lips?
Do you have no shame ANC? Do you who support these people holding our government hostage not see that they are robbing us as well as you? Do you foresee a bright future for your children under their stewardship?
It is sad to see how far the house that Saul Msane, Josiah Gumede, John Dube, Pixley ka Isaka Seme and Sol Plaatje built falling into the shadow of oppression & corruption… 105 years later.
And for those of you that mite feel that no one but those in the ANC have a right to comment on the fall of this historic organization… remember… Julius Malema left the ANC. Musi Maimane left the ANC. Most of those who now oppose it & lament its downfall… used to support the ANC. And over and above that, the ANC was carried over the line of victory by the blood, sweat & tears of many of our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents… and this ghoul, this vampire, this demon that is the shell of The African National Congress… is not what our relatives died for.
So enjoy your celebration of failure & thank you for showing us the pitfalls of socialism, thank you for drawing the corrupt & feeble minded to yourself. Thank you for opening our eyes to the destructiveness of tribalism, factionalism & revenge.
Even inspite of yourself you still carry the hopes of your founders… sadly it is to the grave. May the ANC rest in peace & may ZANC/cANCer fall.
