Rise Up & Push Back

This is a message of encouragement for the people of South Africa from The Chairman of The #RSAPatriots League:

Dear South Africa

We know you are tired. We know that after all that has come to light and after the marches and tweets and outrage that nothing has happened. No one has done anything and you do not know what to do. We understand.

You have heard of cases being opened. You have heard party leaders call for heads. Even the Constitutional Court was engaged… but nothing has happened.

All we hear is the ANC talking smack and patting itself on the back. All we read is people stating the obvious. But in reality, The Zuma Cartel still thrives. The State Capture Network continues on, unabated, uninterrupted, only now with purpose and speed as they now know they have until 2019.

But we have to ask you… are you willing to wait until 2019? After the lies and betrayal and blatant arrogance, mismanagement, incompetence and treasonous actions of the shell that is now what used to be the African National Congress… are you still willing to leave our country in their hands?

All we hear is the ANC talking smack and patting itself on the back. All we read is people stating the obvious. But in reality, The Zuma Cartel still thrives. The State Capture Network continues on, unabated, uninterrupted, only now with purpose and speed as they now know they have until 2019.

Do you realize not that between now and 2019, the nuclear deal will be pushed through and we will be indebted to The Kremlin for eternity? Do you not realize our national reputation will be damaged beyond all recognition and we will be banished to the realm of “just another failed African nation”? Do you not realize that as long as ANC is in power, “White Monopoly Capital” cannot be touched as they are the very financiers of the ANC?

We know you are tired… but we need to rise up and reclaim our nation. During apartheid our parents gave up comfort, safety and luxury to rise up and take back our nation.

In South Africa circa 1994, we had Nelson Mandela. Who do we have in South Africa circa 2017?

How far are you willing to go? What does your country mean to you? What will your answer be when your children ask “What did you do when South Africa was falling?” Maybe it’s time to rise up South Africa. Before it’s too late.

We know you are tired… but we need to rise up and reclaim our nation. During apartheid our parents gave up comfort, safety and luxury to rise up and take back our nation.

Deals are being made to sell our country to the highest bidder… Our energy. Our oil reserves. Our ports. Our land. Even The World Bank has shares in our social grants scheme. We are disarmed and defenceless. So why are we being purposefully oblivious to the destruction happening around us?

If we look back in history, we can always trace the moment when things reached “The Point Of No Return”… the day when things “went south”. We can always analyze the chain of events that lead up to a flashpoint and point out where it all went wrong.

It is our ability to be able to record our past and survive our politics that allows us to be able to do this. It is also because we are removed from that point in time and as such do not have to deal with the everyday things that would otherwise distract us from being able to assess the realities of the things that are happening around us that we are able to honestly asses our failings and come up with solutions.

Luckily for us we have the internet, newspapers, blogs, social media and documentaries. We have all the tools we need to be able to look at ourselves and realize our mistakes, all we need to do is remember that it is us, The Citizens, who make up our nation and it is us who have the power to decide the direction our country takes. All we need to do is shed our fear and take action.
